International Drone Show 2026 Recap: Innovation, Collaboration and Global Connections in Odense

International Drone Show 2026 was the biggest edition of the event so far, bringing the global drone community to Odense for a week of technology, knowledge sharing and new opportunities.
Across exhibition halls, conference stages, live demonstration areas and networking events, professionals from industry, research, public authorities, defence and end-user organisations came together to explore the latest drone developments and exchange hands-on insights from real-world operations.
One of the new highlights in 2026 was EuroDros, hosted by SDU ahead of International Drone Show. By adding a strong research dimension to the week, EuroDros helped connect researchers, innovators and industry stakeholders from across Europe.
Defence and security were also central themes throughout the programme, underlining the growing importance of drones and counter-drone technologies in today’s security landscape.
What continues to define International Drone Show, however, is the community behind it. Throughout the week, new partnerships were formed, ideas were shared, and collaborations were sparked between organisations that might otherwise never have crossed paths.
While the event has come to an end, many of the conversations, projects and business opportunities that began in Odense are only just beginning.
We are already looking forward to welcoming the international drone community back for International Drone Show 2027 on 2-3 June.
