Experience agricultural robots and drones at Agromek
Experience agricultural robots and drones at Northern Europe's largest agricultural fair Agromek - and learn more about the innovative SquareMeterFarm project - and get a guided tour of the exhibitors behind the latest trends within Digital Farming.
Organisers: The event will be hosted by particpants in the SqM-Farm project: Agrointelli, Conpleks, FieldSense, Gyldensteen Gods, the University of Southern Denmark og Aahus University, in collaboration with Odense Robotics og Food & Bio Cluster Denmark.
Experience agricultural robots and drones at Northern Europe’s largest agricultural fair Agromek – and get a guided tour of the exhibitors behind the latest trends within Digital Farming
Artificial intelligence, robots and drones will maximise yields while making it possible to reduce resources such as time, water and fertiliser. This is the objective of the new Danish research project SquareMeterFarm (SqM-Farm), which will develop new technologies for data-powered agriculture, where data from robots, drones and satellites will support the planning of field work.
Buy a ticket for Agromek and:
- Visit the SqM-Farm stand
- Join the mini conference on 30 November
- Join the guided tour of the fair and meet companies working on farming tech solutions
Only want to join one of the activities? – Don’t worry – that’s possible too.
Visit SqM-Farm at the fair:
SqM-Farm will also be exhibiting in Hal E at stand 4158.
Join Future Days (DK: “Fremtidens Dage”) at Agromek Wednesday, 30 November at 13 for more about the project. Here project participants will present results from the project and explain how they will impact your future:
Welcome: Are you ready for data-powered farming? - Ole Green, Founder of Agrointelli Aps and Apog Project Manager of the SqM-Farm project
- Robots, drones and satellite data - a part of future farming
AI camera solutions / Virtual Field Tour - Ole Green
The project's observational robot - "Conpleks FieldSurveyor" - Tom Simonsen, CEO of Conpleks ApS
Autonomous mapping of field characteriscs - Morten Birk, Co-founder of Fieldsense A/S
Data-powered farming in practice - TBA
Join the guided tour and meet the future today:
The tour group leaves Future Days in Hal E at 14:00.
Join the guided tour and meet some of the most innovative robotics and drone companies working on farming solutions. During the tour you will have the chance to experience robots and drones up close and meet the companies behind the tech.
The guided tour will conclude back at the SqM-Farm stand, where research scientists from the University of Southern Denmark and Aarhus University will present the possibilities and challenges that come with including tech solutions in farming. Here they will also explain how drones can be used to estimate yields, weed control based on images, and allocation of nutrients and growth regulation based on sensor data.
The SqM-Farm project is supported by Grønt Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram (GUDP) under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and will end in 2022.
Odense Robotics is supported by the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science as well as the Danish Board of Business Development.
