The European Drone Symposium (EuroDroS) is an academic side event hosted by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in conjunction with the International Drone Show 2026.
Held on 2 June 2026, the day before IDS opens, EuroDroS provides a dedicated platform for European drone researchers and academics to connect and exchange knowledge. The symposium highlights early-stage and emerging research related to drone technologies and their applications, complementing the industry and policy focus of the International Drone Show.
EuroDroS serves as a meeting point between academia and the wider drone ecosystem, strengthening dialogue across research, innovation, and real-world use cases, with post-event publication of extended abstracts.
