Do you want to showcase your innovative solution for International Drone Show attendees?
We are looking for companies and researchers to perform demo flights at the International Drone Show on 18-19 June 2025 at HCA Airport, Odense.
The International Drone Show aims at inspiring the participants and the community in general by showcasing the best, forefront technology, concepts, and solutions – in 2025 focusing on the event themes:
- Legislation & cooperation
- Defence, security and the Arctic
- Industry use cases & new technologies
- Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)
About demonstrating a live flight
Demonstrations take place outdoors, in close vicinity to the conference pavilions (you are offered the use of a big screen, microphone etc. allowing you to present sensor output etc. alongside the demonstration).
A demonstration slot is 20 minutes unless other agreements are made with the organizers.
We invite companies and research institutions to propose demonstration activities.
First come, first served selection process
Demonstrators will be selected continuously on a first come, first served basis. Be aware of case handling time at aviation authorities if you want to demonstrate more advanced operations (BVLOS etc.). Therefore we encourage you to hand in your demonstration proposal before January 1st 2025.
The drone show is held at the UAS Denmark Test Center, which can facilitate many kinds of drone flights and can help you secure any necessary approvals from authorities in advance.
Demonstrators are encouraged to use the 1.900 km2 restricted airspace over land and sea (3.500/7500 ft. AGL) and the facilities offered by Hans Christian Andersen Airport (2 km runway etc.).
Note that approvals for non-open category flights (ref. EASA regulation) will need regulatory approval and need case handling time of minimum 3 Months at Danish Aviation Authorities.
