Safe bridges, clean water and trains on time. There are a great many tasks associated with inspection and maintenance, and there is a massive potential for robotic technology solutions to increase productivity and improve safety.
RIMA (Robotics for Infrastructure Inspection and Maintenance) is a four-year EU project that will help small and medium-sized enterprises introduce robot technology to solve inspection and maintenance challenges such as: water supply, roads, railways, urban infrastructure, energy production and distribution.
More specifically, with the Danish project partner the Danish Technological Institute, you can get access to key services to accelerate your development. This includes support for testing and technology transfer, and guidance and training in robotic technology for inspection and maintenance.
EUR 150.000 to develop new robot tech
The project has two application rounds for 50 experiments for SMEs and mid-caps (technology developers, service providers, system integrators) – with funding of more than DKK 60 million in total. Companies will have the opportunity to acquire funding to help solve challenges, technology development and/or inspection and maintenance solutions.
Right now, companies actually have the opportunity to apply for funding of up to EUR 150.000 to experiment and develop new robotic technology that can solve inspection and maintenance tasks. The second application round is open now and closes on 17 March 2021 at 16:00. Learn more here.
The information meeting will be conducted online in Danish via Microsoft Teams. Link to participation will be sent directly to those registered.
