Robotics market visit to Spain – focused on advanced manufacturing solutions for Spain’s automotive industry, Europe’s second largest automaker
- focused on advanced manufacturing solutions for Spain’s automotive industry, Europe’s second largest automaker
Barcelona, Spain, 11 – 12 December 2023
The market visit is organized by Odense Robotics in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark, The Trade Council.
Spain market overview in the automotive industry
Spain is the second largest vehicle manufacturer in the EU and has a well-established value chain with around 1,000 local subcontractors for OEM and Tier 1. The subcontractors to the automotive industry (the component manufactures (Tier 2) and parts suppliers (Tier 3)) are undergoing a transformation moving towards more digitalized and automated production set-ups. A transformation that is driven by the green transformation of the European automotive industry (electrified and e-fuel) and by shortages in the workforce. This creates an open window for Danish companies wishing to explore new business opportunities.
There is both political and economic motivation to maintain and expand the strong component manufacturing industry in Spain with Tiers 2 and 3 mostly being Spanish owned companies. And many projects and initiatives are supporting the green transformation of the automotive industry.
If you are a Danish company wanting to explore market opportunities in Spain for your robotics solutions, Spain can be your next stop to establish your growth plans. Join Odense Robotics’ market visit to Spain and learn about the opportunities in the Spanish automotive industry in the years to come where there is a high demand for advanced manufacturing solutions, get acquainted with the local robotics ecosystem, and network with key stakeholders.
The robotics market visit to Spain will provide participants with insights into the Spanish automotive industry with the objective of enabling them to forge relations to potential partners in the region.
