StartUp Walk-In: When an idea makes it possible for children to walk

On 22 April, you can get advice on how to tackle all the practicalities that come when starting a robot company and absorb the instructive experiences of others. – And meet the event speaker Dr. Elena Garcia, CEO & Co-Founder of Marsi Bionics.

Meet Dr. Elena Garcia 

Elena Garcia had a idea for new technology a few years back, which would later prove to be of great importance. The Spanish entrepreneur is the CEO and co-founder of Marsi Bionics and has a PhD. in robotics. She is a member of the Spanish National Research Council where she has achieved groundbreaking results.

Among other things, Elena Garcia has developed exoskeletons for the treatment of children with neurological diseases.

Technology has helped many children get on their feet even though their diseases have kept them back.

Elena Garcia is a member of many committees – including a working group at the Ministry of Science in Spain and the jury of the Princess of Asturias Scientific and Technical Research Awards. She has received more than 35 awards for her work within welfare technology.
