First Demo Flights Confirmed
We can already confirm our first four demo flights, giving participants a unique chance to experience live demonstrations, new capabilities and the latest advancements that will shape the future of unmanned operations.
You will be able to experience:
- Sky-Watch: Sky-Watch will deliver a full-scale demonstration showcasing how their UAS platform supports mission execution in demanding and dynamic environments.
- Higheye: High Eye is a Dutch manufacturer of long-endurance unmanned helicopters. At IDS 2026, we will demonstrate the Airboxer — a compact VTOL UAV with up to 4 hours endurance, 7 kg payload, 100 km range, and full all-weather capability. The Airboxer is designed for defence, maritime, and security missions worldwide.
- Apellix: Apellix has partnered with the US Department of Defense to create fully autonomous CBRN decontamination drones, which will be showcased at IDS 2026. Designed to operate in the most hazardous environments, these AI-powered, fully autonomous systems neutralize chemical and biological threats with precision, speed, and zero human exposure.
- MDSI: MDSI will present MAILMAN at IDS 2026 – a compact, cost-effective weapons delivery system purpose-built for drone deployment. Together with our Ukrainian partner Armadone, we will demonstrate a drop from the MQ-204 REX fixed-wing UAS, while Edinburgh Drone Company will showcase multi-drop capability from the MULE-50 heavy-lift UAS.
As part of our mission to highlight forefront solutions in the unmanned industry, IDS provides the framework for companies to carry out their own demo flights — enabling them to present their technology directly to end-users, partners, authorities and B2B stakeholders.
If you or your organisation are interested in showcasing your product in a demo flight at IDS, you are very welcome to reach out to Lars Michael Larsen, Head of UAS Denmark at lmla@hca-airport.dk for further information.
