Network event for robots in healthcare sector

Join Odense Robotics, Syddansk Sundhedsinnovation and Danish Life Science Cluster for a network meeting aimed at promoting knowledge sharing and matchmaking within mobile robots across regions, businesses and other public actors in the healthcare sector, where robot technology is an important part of the solutions for streamlining the healthcare system of the future.

If you want to become a member of the Network for Mobile Robots in the Health Sector, you can simply register for the event, after which you will automatically become part of Network for Mobile Robots in the Health Sector. You do not have to be a member of the clusters to join this network. Please note that you do, however, need to have relevant affiliation and serious interest in the area. It is free to participate and the theme for the network meeting is AMR’s and AGV operation at danish hospitals. This time the network meeting will take place at MIR, who will also offer a tour of their showroom.

For the network meeting, there is a no-show-fee at 500 DKK.

Allan Knudsen, Area Sales Manager, MIR will present how MIR originally began with a focus on healthcare as a business area. MIR has since broaden their market approach, however healthcare is still an area to watch as the need for automation is huge. Furthermore Allan will present the company’s journey from early beginnings to today as well as touch upon some of the installations they have produced in the sector.

AGV's at Danish Hospitals - Case New OUH

Anne Mette Vraa, Teamleder, Det nye OUH will talk about why AGV’s are important at the new Odense University Hospital and in addition highlight possibilities and limitations and how the construction of a brand new building affects the choice of operating AGV’s.

AGV's at Danish Hospitals - Case Region Hovedstaden

Kristian Bille, Teamleder, Hospital Logistics at Region Hovedstaden will share how their test of MIR robots for transportation of parcels at Herlev and Bispebjerg hospitals went. Kristian will also talk about possible ‘resuscitations’ of existing AGV’s for bigger logistical assignments and share an analysis of possible IT support of new AGV’s entering Hillerød and Bispebjerg hospitals (regional systems).
