Advances in perception systems for autonomous operations
DTU Centre for Collaborative Autonomous Systems invites you to attend this seminar about recent advances in perception systems for autonomous operations within transport, inspection and farming.
DTU Centre for Collaborative Autonomous Systems invites you to a seminar on recent advances in perception systems for autonomous operations within transport, inspection and farming.
The development of advanced perception systems is receiving great attention from both the academic and industrial research communities since recent technological advances in hardware and software components have opened up for unprecedented opportunities. The last decade has witness a burst of machine learning algorithms emerging, especially in the context of image detection, segmentation and classification with a steady improvement of computational performances.
However, the application of such technologies in the context of autonomous systems possibly operating in mixed environments at the presence of human beings, or performing tasks of high economic value demands a high level of robustness in order to meet safety and reliability criteria.
The seminar presents recent advances in perception systems for autonomous operations within transport, inspection and farming.
Please note that registration for physical attendance will close on Friday October 22, whereas registration for virtual participation will remain open until Tuesday October 26.
